Home Staging Transforms Contemporary Home in Villanova Pennsylvania

One of my favorite things about being a home staging professional is the dramatic transformation that occurs when a home is staged.

Our team recently had the pleasure of getting a large contemporary home in Villanova Pennsylvania ready to sell. It is a spacious home with 8 bedrooms including an inlaw suite, a full finished basement and many rooms for entertaining. We started this project by providing the owner with a consulation for some minor updates that needed to be made and then added the final touches by staging a few key rooms to show buyers how they could enjoy this luxury home with their family. The result? The home looks warmer and more inviting.

Take a look for yourself.

Kate, With this home being so large and contemporary it really was in need of being warmed up and you accomplished that...it looks great. I really like the kids space, it's so cute!

Thanks Donna

I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I usually do not stage contemporary homes so this was a bit of a challenge for me but I think we accomplished a lot on the little budget we had- the majority of the budget went to a new roof, the deck, painting and cleaning. The staging was just the icing on the cake!

I had fun with the kid's space. The home already had 2 offices so I could not see making this a third office. I went to Ikea with my son Ben and he helped me pick out a few items (he is 4) I told him we can use them in his playroom when the home sells. Giving him a lesson on investing in inventory early!

Amazing job as always Kate.  Wow, the homeowner sure had a lot of those blue chairs eh?  You made them work though.  Congrats!

Kate, Fabulous. You did a great job warming this home up. I love how you incorporated an area for the kids. I think we too often try to exclude them in our staging.

thanks ladies- those blue chairs were everywhere! I had originally planned to bring in some alternative chairs but it was not in the budget so I made them work. We were giggling about them when we were staging- everytime we turned around there was another chair! They were actually expensive back in the day! Retro is in so hopefully some one else will love them too. kh

Looks like you met the challenge of a contemporary home head on.  It turned out great.  I really like the family room and kids space.  With the wood floor and stone fireplace staging made all the difference - much more welcoming.
