Home Staging Expert Kate Hart Shares Design Advice with Pennsylvania HomeGoods Shoppers

No worries you are not seeing double! Last weekend I had the pleasure of conducting my first "Designer is In" seminar for HomeGoods stores in St. Davids Pennsylvania and used this display to show shoppers how accessories can really transform a space on a budget. I really enjoyed meeting fellow shoppers and answering questions about their design and home staging projects.  To learn more about the "Designer is In" seminars visit my HomeGoods blog. I am off to Marlton New Jersey this weekend and look forward to meeting more shoppers in person.

I love that you can educate your buyers. That takes time to organize and an understanding of the local culture... good for you!

This is fabulous and you presented an excellent example of using an "anchor" (the leather chair) and how little things such as pillows and color can transform the same room with completely different feels. LOVE IT!

Kate, Great way to show how changing a few accessories around can give you a whole new look. I wish we had HomeGoods stores in my area. I see everyone here on the rain talking about them and they look great! Wishing you continued success on your tour of HomeGoods!
